With lighter high end components, slick road tires and a wide range of gears, the FIT is the only folding bike of its kind.

The FIT offers 27 gears, the adjustable height Octagon handlebar stem, 700c Kenda Kwick Roller slicks and Shimano Rapid Fire shifters.

The Octagon Fully Adjustable Stem
The Octagon adjustable stem offers all the benefits of an angle adjustable stem without shortening “reach” when raised. This unique design allows for handlebar height to be changed while preserving the way the bike handles and rides. Strength and stability are maintained with your handlebars firmly locked in place. Also, with the octagonal shape of the post, steering remains engaged while raising or lowering the handlebar stem.

Clever integration of CLIX technology allows for the FIT to be folded in under 20 seconds without the use of tools. A flip of the CLIX quick release lever on the top tube and the bike folds to a compact size. If you forget to retighten the QR after unfolding, a secondary lock prevents the frame from folding. Montague's patented seat tube folding system preserves the structural integrity and inherent strength of traditional bicycle geometry. Unlike other folding bikes, there are no hinges and no structural tubes cut in half.

You can take it with you without a bike rack. Whether it’s a business trip, a camping trip or just a weekend drive in the country, store your bike in your trunk and have the freedom to go for a ride whenever you want. Montague bikes can also be folded neatly into a carrying case and stored out of the way in a closet or under a bed.
